   There are several types of memory cards. SD and Memory Stick are just 2 of them.
   Unfortunately, cameras (and other electronics) are usually made to take only 1 type of card. The cards are different physical sizes and shapes.
   Sony cameras only use Memory Stick type cards, so you need to get one. I got a 1 GB Sandisk Memory Stick on sale at Office Max for $25. So look around for a sale. It does not have to be Sony brand Memory Stick.
