The model of the Sandisk card is SDSDH-4096
I’m looking to get the best yet more affordable card to record at least a half hour of video and also reads fast.
I’m just not sure if this card is too advanced for the Canon A570IS or not?

Email canon directly, I have had to email them twice this week and they get right back to you. I have A570 IS and I have the sandisk Ultra III 2 G and it works great. I do a lot of continuous shooting, mini movies and pics. I find the faster card works better for the continous shooting mode.
